The final story in this issue is a loose adaptation of PUNCH DRUNKS (1934). The 1-pg barber story was later adapted as a live-action wraparound for THE NEW 3 STOOGES (1965) animated TV series.

The Saggie and Figgs story is signed by "Geo. McMaurer." This was actually Norman Maurer... spoofing the popular comic strip Maggie and Jiggs by George McManus.
