Award winning actor, who began as a child star in the 1930s at MGM, and still worked up to weeks before his death. As 'Mickey McGuire' (title character Rooney played in a popular series of shorts late '20s - early '30s), he did a personal appearance at the RKO Palace in Cleveland OH, August 27, 1932... on stage with Ted Healy & His Stooges, and Curly's premiere performance with the team.
