One of "The Three Ambassadors," singers with Gus Arnheim's Orchestra at the Cocoanut Grove, in Hollywood's Ambassador Hotel. Jack had a successful radio career as "Smilin' Jack Smith," and later the host of TV's YOU ASKED FOR IT in the late 1950s. Spoofing YOU ASKED FOR IT, Smith appeared as himself on two 1975 episodes of HAPPY DAYS.
